Global organisation Holiday on Ice is the undisputed worldwide market leader in ice entertainment and the world's largest touring live-entertainment production: visiting more than 80 cities in 20 countries each year. Over the past few years, Holiday on Ice, as part of Joop van den Ende's Stage Entertainment company, has created a new generation of ice shows. These shows contain elements of the theatre, dance, opera, musicals and acrobatics, which are combined in innovative new ways. From its head office in the Netherlands and supported by an international network of promoters, creative producers, the Holiday on Ice office in Hamburg and The Stage Entertainment offices in London, Madrid, Moscow, Milan. At present, around 400 people are employed by Holiday on Ice. Each show tours for four or five years, mainly in Europe and South America, but also in new markets like Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe, bringing millions of fans a unique combination of fantasy and entertainment.

World-class skaters Becoming part of a Holiday on Ice production is a much-loved part of many skaters' careers. The inclusion of world-class skaters and Olympic medallists is a regular feature of Holiday on Ice productions. Over the years, these have included such well-known names as Sjoukje Dijkstra, Katarina Witt, Surya Bonaly, Nobert Schramm, Robin Cousins and Philippe Candeloro.
Stage Entertainment Group
In 1999, Holiday on Ice became part of Joop van den Ende's Stage Entertainment Group, Europe's leading live-entertainment production company. Based in the Netherlands, Stage Entertainment attracts combined annual audiences of around ten million people to its ice shows, theatre productions, musicals and special events. Along with ticket sales, its activities are spread around more than 35 countries, in South America, all over Europe and also in the United States. Stage Entertainment has (co-) produced theatre musicals like Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Aida, The Lion King, Saturday Night Fever, Chicago, Elisabeth, Dirty Dancing, Mamma Mia, Cats, The Beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, 3 Musketeers, Cabaret, Novomundo, Hans Klok and more.
